Job description
A respected independent school in Salisbury is seeking a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join their department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a high-achieving academic environment where practical learning, innovation, and design thinking are highly valued. The Role You will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience and specialism. The role involves delivering a balanced programme of practical and theory-based lessons, supporting students in developing design, manufacturing, and problem-solving skills. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess and track student progress, and maintain a safe, well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety expectations. You will work within a collaborative DT department with excellent resources and clear schemes of work, and you may contribute to enrichment activities such as design projects, competitions, or exhibitions.
