Job description
An Outstanding 11–18 school in Oxford is seeking a talented and energetic Music ECT to join their dynamic Performing Arts Faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent role offers an exceptional opportunity to begin your teaching career in a creative, supportive environment that values both artistic and academic achievement. About the Role The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3–KS5 , inspiring students through performance, composition, and music appreciation. You will direct choirs or ensembles, support concerts and musical productions, and contribute to the vibrant co-curricular life of the school. You will receive dedicated mentoring from the Head of Performing Arts, with regular feedback and opportunities to observe experienced practitioners. The school’s ECT programme provides structured professional development designed to help you refine your craft and grow in confidence. About the School This Outstanding Oxford school has a rich musical heritage and a thriving arts culture. The Music Department includes practice rooms, recording studios, and a performance auditorium, giving students access to world-class facilities.
