Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic DT Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Leicester, starting in January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced DT Teachers as well as ECTs. About the DT Department The DT department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong track record of producing high-quality work and fostering a love of Design and Technology in students. The department has excellent facilities. As a DT Teacher you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's continued success and shape the future of DT education at the school. About the Role As a DT Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Teaching DT across Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. Contributing to the DT department's curriculum development and resource creation. Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications DT related Degree QTS or PGCE DT Teacher Salary The salary for this DT Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
