A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Maidstone is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 . KS2 Class Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent Location: Maidstone, Kent Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) About the School A friendly, inclusive school environment with a strong sense of community. About the Role As a KS2 Teacher , your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Using assessment effectively to track pupil progress and inform next steps. Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and resilience. Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership to drive standards and outcomes. Contributing to wider school life, including enrichment opportunities and events. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Recent or relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 2. Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations. Effective classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and learning. A reflective, collaborative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
