This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Science practitioner looking to step into leadership, or for an existing Second in Department seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will support the Head of Science with curriculum planning, assessment strategy, tracking progress, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will also play a key role in mentoring colleagues, supporting ECTs, and contributing to departmental development planning. A teaching timetable across KS3 & KS4 is expected, with the opportunity to teach KS5 in your specialism. The Science department is exceptionally well resourced, with modern laboratories, excellent technician support, and a collaborative team of subject specialists.
