Job description
An inclusive secondary school in Newcastle is looking for a full-time Biology Teacher starting January 2026. The successful candidate will teach general Science at KS3 and Biology at KS4, with opportunities to teach A-level for experienced staff. Biology Teacher needed January 2026 Teach Science KS3 and Biology KS4 Full-time role in a supportive Newcastle school environment This role is perfect for a dedicated Biology teacher passionate about hands-on science and student engagement. Experience and Qualifications QTS with Science specialism (Biology preferred) Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Skilled in practical lesson delivery and lab safety Right to work in the UK School Information This is an inclusive co-educational secondary school with approximately 1,050 students on roll, including a Sixth Form of around 220 learners. The school has developed a strong reputation for its commitment to STEM education, hands-on learning, and an inclusive ethos that supports both academic excellence and personal growth. The science department is a key strength of the school, featuring modern, fully equipped laboratories, access to digital learning platforms, and a well-established programme of enrichment activities such as STEM clubs and national competitions.
