Job description
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated Mixed Secondary School in Brent, North West London, recognised for its exceptional academic performance and commitment to rigorous numeracy standards, seeks a talented Mathematics Teacher for a Permanent, Full-Time position. The start date for this role is ASAP (Immediate Start). Compensation & Contract Job Title: Mathematics Teacher Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start) Salary: Paid on the Outer London Teachers' Pay Scales (MPS/UPS), commensurate with experience, plus potential TLR. The Role The successful Mathematics Teacher will assume responsibility for teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level), driving high student attainment and confidence. You will immediately join a supportive and collaborative department, benefiting from dedicated co-planning time and team teaching opportunities to ensure pedagogical excellence. The Mathematics Teacher will be central to the school's commitment to improving problem-solving skills and mathematical fluency across all year groups. This permanent opportunity offers a strong platform for a talented Mathematics Teacher seeking immediate employment and stability in a top-performing school. As a core subject specialist, the Mathematics Teacher will have access to high-quality, evidence-based CPD and coaching sessions. The school requires the Mathematics Teacher to contribute to after-school revision or enrichment sessions to support pupil progress. You must be ready to assume the full professional responsibilities of the role from day one as the Mathematics Teacher. The appointed Mathematics Teacher will mentor students and act as a dedicated form tutor.
