About the Client Our Client is a well-established crypto payments and processing company enabling businesses worldwide to accept, manage, and scale crypto transactions securely and efficiently, operating at the intersection of crypto, Web3, and global payments. Role Overview As a CFO , you will take full ownership of the company’s financial strategy, operations, and governance. This role requires someone who is confident working in complex regulatory environments, understands the realities of crypto and high-risk payments, and is comfortable defending financial decisions internally and externally. The CFO will play a critical role in supporting rapid growth, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring long-term sustainability. The role involves active communication with international teams and requires a solid understanding of payment processes. Key Responsibilities Own and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligned with business growth and scaling goals. Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Oversee accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and audit functions. Ensure compliance and financial governance across jurisdiction. Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team. Requirements 5+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles (CFO / Head of Finance / Finance Director). Strong background in crypto, fintech, payments, or high-risk financial services. Experience working with PSPs, banks, EMI partners, and crypto liquidity providers. Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Experience scaling companies in fast-growth environments. Key Soft Skills Strong personal backbone and independence — able to defend decisions and take responsibility. Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset. High level of ownership and accountability. Ability to operate confidently in high-pressure, high-risk environments.
