Job description
Our client, a Good mixed 11–18 academy in Reading , is looking for a Psychology ECT to join their high-performing and collaborative Humanities faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early-career teacher to inspire students while receiving exceptional guidance and training. Role Overview As a Psychology ECT , you will teach KS4 and KS5 students, creating engaging lessons that encourage discussion, debate, and analytical thinking. Supported by an experienced subject mentor and a comprehensive induction programme, you will be well-equipped to build confidence in your classroom practice. The department values research-led teaching and creativity in lesson delivery. School Information The school serves a diverse and ambitious community of around 1,300 pupils and is celebrated for its inclusive ethos and focus on staff wellbeing. The Psychology and Social Sciences department is thriving, supported by strong leadership and modern facilities. ECTs receive structured CPD, mentorship, and a reduced timetable to support professional growth.
