Job description
Shape the future of KS5 Science education in Redbridge! TLR opportunity available. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Science Teacher with a specialism in KS5 (ability to teach at least one science to A-Level) to join our outstanding school. This role offers the potential for a TLR for a candidate with the right skills and ambition to lead our A-Level provision. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3-5, specializing in at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at A-Level. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Develop students' scientific reasoning and practical skills, particularly at KS5. Create a positive and engaging learning environment, especially for advanced learners. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum, with a focus on A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum, especially at KS5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership potential in KS5 delivery (for TLR consideration). Ability to teach at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to A-Level.
