About the Role A forward-thinking Independent academy in Brent seeks a dedicated Psychology Teacher to inspire students in their exploration of human behaviour and mental processes. This permanent, full-time position commences in September, providing the opportunity for a passionate Psychology Teacher to guide students through complex psychological concepts up to A-Level. We are looking for a skilled Psychology Teacher to join our team. About the School This institution prides itself on its innovative approach to social sciences education, well-equipped resources, and a supportive environment. The Psychology department offers students access to advanced resources, engaging discussions, and university collaborations. We need a capable Psychology Teacher to contribute to our department. Responsibilities Deliver engaging Psychology lessons across Key Stages 4 and A-Level, fostering students' critical thinking and analytical skills. Guide students through A-Level coursework, ensuring their success in psychological studies and examinations. Utilise a variety of teaching methods, including case studies and research analysis. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Psychology curriculum. Lead extracurricular activities such as psychology clubs and debates. We want a Psychology Teacher with these abilities. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field. PGCE or QTS. Proven experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level, including A-Level. We need an experienced Psychology Teacher for this role. Salary and Benefits Competitive salary package, dependent on experience.
