Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? A thriving primary school in Redbridge is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in April 2025. Start Date: April 2025 Location: Redbridge Working Hours: Full-Time Contract Type: Permanent About the School This welcoming and inclusive primary school is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment where every child can flourish. With a strong focus on collaboration, community, and staff development, the school is dedicated to supporting both students and teachers in their growth. The school is well-connected with excellent transport links and offers on-site parking for staff. Your Role as a Reception Teacher Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and interactive lessons tailored to Reception pupils. Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that fosters children's curiosity and love for learning. Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback to enhance their development. Encourage children to develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child reaches their potential. Participate in staff meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Early Years, particularly in a Reception setting. A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and effective assessment strategies. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A passion for inclusive education and fostering a love of learning in young children. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
