Job description
A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Croydon is seeking an experienced School Receptionist to join their friendly administrative team. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the school office. Key Responsibilities: Managing the front desk and greeting visitors professionally Handling incoming calls and responding to parent enquiries Maintaining accurate pupil records using the school’s MIS system Monitoring attendance and reporting concerns Supporting safeguarding procedures and visitor sign-in protocols Providing general administrative support to the senior leadership team The Ideal Candidate: Previous school-based reception or administrative experience is essential Confident using school systems (SIMS, Arbor or similar) Excellent communication and organisational skills Calm, professional and able to manage a busy front office A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one) is essential This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive primary setting at the heart of the local community.
