Music Teacher – Creative Alternative Provision – Southwark 📍 Location: Southwark 📅 Start Date: April 2024 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate Music Teacher looking to make a real impact in an Alternative Provision (AP) setting? A dynamic and well-supported Alternative Provision in Southwark is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join their team in April. This is an exciting opportunity to engage and inspire students through music, helping them build confidence, creativity, and key life skills. Your Role as a Music Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging and practical Music lessons tailored to students with diverse needs. 🔹 Inspire students through creative and interactive music-making experiences. 🔹 Develop students' musical talents while boosting their confidence and well-being . 🔹 Use a range of instruments, technology, and digital tools to make music accessible. 🔹 Work closely with pastoral staff and external professionals to support students' holistic development. 🔹 Foster a safe and structured learning environment, encouraging self-expression and growth . Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant music teaching qualification. ✅ Experience teaching Music in a mainstream, SEN, or Alternative Provision setting. ✅ A passion for music education and the ability to engage students with diverse needs . ✅ Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach. ✅ The ability to differentiate lessons and support students with varying abilities . ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
