Job description
Our client is looking for a Maths Teacher to work within a highly regarded mixed secondary school based in Taunton . This is a permanent position to start from January 2026 . Maths Teacher required to work on a full-time basis Outstanding school in Taunton Excellent Maths Teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced department Our client is seeking a talented and passionate Maths Teacher to teach across KS3, KS4, and KS5 , contributing to curriculum development, student achievement, and departmental success. The successful Maths Teacher will be joining a high-performing team with a shared commitment to delivering engaging lessons and promoting a love of Mathematics. Experience and Qualifications Maths Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3, KS4, and KS5 Be an enthusiastic, inspiring, and reflective classroom practitioner Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE) Legal ability to work within the UK School Information This is an outstanding mixed secondary school based in Taunton , renowned for its academic excellence and strong Sixth Form provision. With over 1,600 students on roll, the school consistently achieves results well above the national average. In 2024 , 92% of students achieved grades 9–4 in GCSE Mathematics , with outstanding A-Level results and a strong track record of students progressing to top universities for STEM-related degrees. The school is heavily oversubscribed each year, reflecting its outstanding reputation within the local community. The school was judged ‘Outstanding’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection and prides itself on fostering a culture of ambition, innovation, and continuous improvement.
