Job description
A well-established secondary school in Slough is seeking a reliable and technically confident IT Technician to join their support team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy school environment, providing essential technical support that enables staff and students to work effectively and safely with technology. The Role You will provide first- and second-line IT support across the school, responding to technical issues in a timely and professional manner. Your responsibilities will include supporting classroom technology, maintaining hardware and software, and assisting staff and students with day-to-day IT queries. You will help manage user accounts, devices, and network access, support the setup and maintenance of laptops, desktops, interactive screens, and printers, and assist with the smooth running of the school’s IT systems. The role also involves supporting safeguarding and data security procedures, updating systems where required, and working closely with senior staff or external providers on larger technical projects.
