Job description
Are you an organised and enthusiastic Science Technician looking to join a well-regarded secondary school in York? We are recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted Good school seeking a Science Technician to support their successful Science department. School Information: The school is known for its positive learning environment, strong leadership, and commitment to practical science education. About the Science Department: The Science department is well-resourced and collaborative, with technicians playing a vital role in supporting teaching and learning. Responsibilities: Prepare and set up equipment for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons Ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals and equipment Maintain laboratory resources and stock levels Support practical lessons and demonstrations Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience as a Science Technician or laboratory assistant (desirable) Knowledge of health and safety procedures Organised and methodical approach to work Ability to work effectively as part of a team Salary and Benefits: Competitive support staff salary Application: Please submit your CV to apply.
