Job description
The Role: Full-time A-Level Maths Teacher focused on maximizing student progress and achievement. Deliver engaging and challenging A-Level Maths lessons, tailored to meet the needs of individual students. Implement effective assessment and feedback strategies to monitor student progress. Provide personalized academic support and guidance, including exam preparation and revision strategies. Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive learning environment. About the School: Progressive secondary school in Newham with a strong focus on student achievement. Supportive and collaborative Maths department committed to student success. Modern facilities and resources. Excellent pastoral support systems. Conveniently located with excellent transport links. The Ideal Candidate: Dedicated and passionate A-Level Maths Teacher with a strong focus on student progress. Excellent understanding of the A-Level Maths curriculum and assessment requirements. Ability to create engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Strong assessment and feedback skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Right to work in the UK. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Mathematics or a related field. Experience teaching A-Level Maths. Knowledge of current assessment practices and curriculum developments.
