Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Teacher to join an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school in Leicester. The school is seeking both ECTs and experienced teachers to teach Business at Key Stage 4 and 5 on a full-time and permanent basis. Known for its exceptional academic standards, the school boasts excellent results and is oversubscribed, with a strong reputation in the local community. • Position: Business Teacher • Location: Leicester • Start Date: September 2025 • Contract: Permanent • Teaching: Business to GCSE and A-Level • Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 • Full-time (Part-time considered) School Information The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a thriving and successful Business department, delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students at Key Stages 4 and 5. The school is known for its strong academic performance and its commitment to high expectations, both for students and staff. The Business department consistently achieves outstanding results, with students going on to study business-related courses at top universities. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment, where teachers are given the resources and encouragement needed to succeed. What the School Is Looking For: Experience: A qualified Business Teacher, either experienced or an ECT, with the ability to teach Business at both GCSE and A-Level. Passion: A passion for Business Education and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Commitment: Strong communication skills, the ability to work well as part of a team, and a commitment to the school's high academic standards. Experience and Qualifications Required: Degree in Business or a related field QTS or equivalent qualification Experience teaching Business to KS4 and KS5 students Salary The salary for this Business Teacher position will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS).
