Job description
Are you a passionate English Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey in a supportive and inspiring school environment? Your Role as an English ECT Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop students’ analytical, reading, and writing skills through creative and challenging lessons. Receive ongoing feedback and mentorship to refine your teaching practice. Participate in regular CPD opportunities and department meetings. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities such as book clubs, writing competitions, and theatre trips. Who We’re Looking For A dedicated English graduate with QTS (or working towards it). Passionate about literature, language, and fostering a love of English in young people. Strong communication and organisational skills. A reflective practitioner eager to grow and develop as a teacher within a supportive school.
