Job description
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science ECT to join an ambitious and high-performing secondary school in Dorset. This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in January 2026 and offers an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to develop their skills in a nurturing and forward-thinking environment. • Science ECT • Ambitious Secondary School in Dorset • Full-time, permanent position • Excellent ECT induction and mentoring • Science ECT role starting January 2026 School Information This Dorset school is known for its academic excellence, inclusive ethos, and commitment to teacher development . The Science Department is modern and well-equipped, with recently refurbished laboratories, access to digital learning tools, and a team of dedicated technicians. The school prides itself on supporting ECTs through structured mentoring and extensive CPD tailored to early career teachers. Role Information You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering creative, practical lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities. The department encourages innovation and cross-curricular collaboration, offering an exciting environment to begin your teaching career.
