The school serves a diverse community and prioritises inclusion, academic development, and pupil wellbeing. The SEN department provides structured support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs, and speech and language difficulties . Staff are encouraged to develop professionally, and support staff play a central role in ensuring all pupils achieve their potential. The Role The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support and small group interventions , working alongside teachers and the SENCO. Responsibilities include supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring they can access the curriculum fully. You will assist pupils with focus, engagement, and behaviour, implementing strategies from SEN plans and EHCPs. Your role will also involve supporting pupils’ social development, fostering confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
