Job description
An established mixed academy in Islington requires an enthusiastic English Literature Teacher for an immediate temporary role. This position offers the chance to inspire students with a love for literary analysis in a supportive setting. Responsibilities: Delivers engaging English Literature lessons to students in Key Stages 4 and 5. Assesses student work and provides constructive feedback. Maintains accurate records of student progress. Supports students with coursework and exam preparation. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature. Experience teaching English Literature at the secondary level. School Information: An established mixed academy with a strong emphasis on literacy and humanities. Located in a diverse area of Islington. Remuneration: Competitive daily rate, based on experience.
