Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher looking for a new opportunity at a school you will soon call home? We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Religious Studies Teacher to join a thriving Humanities department at a well-regarded school in Oxford. The successful candidate will inspire students to think critically about philosophical, ethical, and spiritual questions, fostering curiosity and respect for diverse worldviews. Your Role: • Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching. • Inspire students to explore themes in philosophy, ethics, and world religions, encouraging open-mindedness and reflection. • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners and promote critical thinking. • Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback to support achievement. • Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities, trips, and clubs. Who We’re Looking For: • A qualified Religious Studies Teacher with QTS (or equivalent). • A passionate educator who can engage and challenge students of all abilities. • A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development. • A strong communicator and team player with excellent organisational skills. • Someone who values inclusivity, respect, and ethical discussion within education.
