Job description
A high-achieving and well-regarded secondary school in Coventry is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join its successful DT Department. This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a school with strong academic outcomes, high expectations, and a supportive staff culture. Design & Technology Teacher required High-achieving secondary school based in Coventry Well-resourced and successful DT department The role involves teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience and specialism (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Graphics). You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, promote safe workshop practice, and support students in developing creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Design & Technology or a related subject Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong knowledge of workshop practice, CAD/CAM, and health & safety High expectations for student behaviour, engagement, and outcomes Willingness to contribute to departmental development and enrichment School Information This Coventry-based school is recognised for its strong leadership, positive learning environment, and consistently high standards.
