Job description
IT Technician – Independent School – Croydon Location: Croydon, London Start Date: As soon as possible Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience A well-regarded secondary school in Croydon is seeking a proactive and reliable IT Technician to join their dedicated support team and help maintain a high standard of digital learning and infrastructure. About the School This Independent school is known for its strong community spirit, high expectations, and commitment to providing excellent learning experiences. The school embraces technology across the curriculum and values innovation in teaching and learning. The Role As an IT Technician , you will: Provide technical support to staff and students across the school. Maintain, install, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems. Support the management of user accounts, printers, and classroom technology. Ensure all ICT equipment is in good working order and maintained efficiently. Assist with upgrades, data backups, and IT asset management. Requirements · Has previous experience in an IT support or technician role, ideally in an educational setting. · Possesses strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and common software. · Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and communication skills. · Is organised, efficient, and able to prioritise workloads effectively. · Has a proactive approach and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
