Full-time, Permanent - September 2025 Start Are you a passionate and engaging Teacher of Psychology with a desire to inspire students to explore the fascinating world of human behavior and mental processes? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our supportive Psychology department in a secondary school in Richmond. About the School: Our school is a vibrant and inclusive learning community where students are encouraged to develop their intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and understanding of the human mind. We offer a stimulating and supportive environment where students can delve into the complexities of psychology. About the Psychology Department: The Psychology department is a collaborative and passionate team with a shared commitment to fostering students' interest in this captivating subject. We offer a rigorous and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of psychological theories and concepts. About the Role: Teach Psychology across Key Stages 4 and 5, potentially Key Stage 3. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including experiments, discussions, and case studies. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to the department's curriculum development. Foster a love of Psychology in students. Work collaboratively with colleagues. Participate in professional development opportunities. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Psychology. Demonstrates a passion for teaching Psychology. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
