DT ECT – Innovative Secondary School – Swindon – September Start Location: Swindon Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for Design & Technology? A well-regarded secondary school in Swindon is looking for a talented and creative DT ECT to join their progressive department. Your Role as a DT ECT: Deliver innovative and engaging lessons in Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Systems & Control. Encourage students to apply design thinking and solve problems creatively. Support students in the creation of their GCSE and A-Level projects. Work with a team of experienced DT teachers to develop curriculum resources and enhance teaching methods. Contribute to extra-curricular activities related to Design & Technology, such as tech clubs and school showcases. What We’re Looking For: A qualified DT Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for product design and technology. Strong understanding of the DT curriculum and creative problem-solving skills. A positive and adaptable approach to teaching and working with students. Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
