Job description
The Role: Full-time Design Technology Teacher to develop and strengthen industry links. Integrate real-world industry practices and projects into the curriculum. Organize and lead student visits to design studios and industry events. Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across various disciplines. Foster a strong understanding of career pathways in the design industry. Strong emphasis on developing industry partnerships and providing real-world learning experiences. Well-equipped workshops and access to industry-standard software. Supportive and collaborative staff environment. Located in a hub of design and creative activity. The Ideal Candidate: Experienced Design Technology Teacher with a strong network of industry contacts. Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry partners. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Passion for bridging the gap between education and industry. Right to work in the UK. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Design Technology or a related field. Experience teaching Design Technology at all key stages. Knowledge of current industry trends and practices.
