SEN Teacher – Specialist Academy School – Bromley – ASAP Start Position: SEN Teacher Location: Bromley Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, based on experience A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our specialist academy school in Bromley. If you are experienced in supporting students with a range of special educational needs and are looking for a rewarding position where you can make a real difference, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs. Support students in both small group and one-to-one settings, ensuring a personalised and inclusive learning experience. Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of students. Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, where all students feel valued, supported, and confident. Who We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with students with special educational needs, ideally within a specialist or alternative education setting. Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and the ability to differentiate lessons effectively. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
