The Year 2 Teacher will attend moderation and CPD sessions organised around January 2026 and will teach from January 2026 on the agreed timetable. Day-to-day for the Year 2 Teacher Mornings: the Year 2 Teacher leads systematic phonics and guided reading. Afternoons: the Year 2 Teacher plans next steps, liaises with TAs and prepares parental updates. Person specification — Year 2 Teacher We require a Year 2 Teacher with QTS, confident KS1 practice and strong assessment strategies.
