Job description
ECT: Maths Teacher – Embed Structured Mastery in an Ambitious, Accessible School – Manchester An ambitious and structured secondary school in Manchester is seeking a keen ECT of Mathematics to join their large faculty for the January 2026 start. ECT: Mathematics Teacher required from January 2026 Manchester-based school committed to structured teaching and ambitious results. Ideal for an ECT who thrives on clear, consistent frameworks and collaborative planning. You will teach KS3 and KS4 Maths , adhering to a structured mastery curriculum. The induction is designed to build your confidence in delivering precise, rigorous instruction, using the department's shared resources and assessment tools. Experience and Qualifications QTS or completing final training in Mathematics . Strong understanding of, or willingness to train in, a Mastery Maths approach. Ability to maintain a structured and orderly classroom environment. Commitment to making Maths accessible and engaging for all learners. School Information The Maths department operates a high level of collaborative planning, ensuring consistency and dramatically reducing individual resource creation time. The ECT programme is structured to provide weekly subject-specific mentoring, ensuring a safe and supportive path into the profession. Structured ECT programme with a focus on subject knowledge and rigour . Highly collaborative department with shared planning for all key stages.
