PE Teacher – Specialist School – Harrow – April Start 📍 Location: Harrow 📅 Start Date: April 2025 📄 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate PE Teacher looking to inspire and support students in a specialist school ? A well-respected specialist school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team in April 2025 . Your Role as a PE Teacher: 🔹 Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons , adapting activities to suit students’ needs. 🔹 Promote physical well-being, teamwork, and confidence-building through tailored sports programs. 🔹 Use adaptive teaching techniques to ensure all students can participate and thrive. 🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching staff to support students’ overall development. 🔹 Encourage students to develop coordination, motor skills, and a lifelong love for physical activity . 🔹 Organise sports events, enrichment activities, and extracurricular clubs . 🔹 Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience as a PE Teacher . ✅ A passion for inclusive physical education and supporting students with SEN . ✅ Strong ability to differentiate lessons and adapt activities for individual needs. ✅ A positive, patient, and encouraging approach to teaching. ✅ Knowledge of therapeutic PE approaches , sensory integration, or adapted sports is desirable. ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
