Job description
Religious Studies Teacher required January 2026 Good mixed school based in Preston Religious Studies Teacher to join a well-resourced and inclusive department Our Client is looking for a Religious Studies Teacher to work within a well-established mixed secondary school in Preston. The successful Religious Studies Teacher will teach KS3 & KS4 and play an active role in developing the school’s PSHE curriculum. School Information This 11–18 school has 1,300 pupils and continues to achieve excellent results, with 93% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The RS department promotes open-minded discussion and critical thinking, helping students develop respect and understanding for global perspectives. Teachers describe the school as warm and supportive, with excellent communication between departments. Leadership invests heavily in professional development and pastoral care, creating a positive and balanced work environment.
