About the Role A well-established and high-achieving secondary school in Staffordshire is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join its thriving Creative Arts faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4, with A-Level teaching available for suitably experienced candidates. The post is ideal for a teacher who values creativity, collaboration and high standards, and who can inspire students to explore their ideas with confidence and imagination. Key Details Position: Teacher of Art Contract: Full-time, permanent Start Date: January 2026 Key Stages: 3 – 5 Suitable for: Experienced teachers or confident ECTs The Department and Facilities The Art department is a popular and dynamic area of the school, known for its high-quality teaching and consistently strong results at GCSE and A-Level. Students are encouraged to experiment, reflect and refine their creative process through a balance of traditional and contemporary media. Your role will also include: Supporting students in developing coursework portfolios and preparing for assessment Contributing to departmental planning and resource development Organising or supporting art clubs, exhibitions and community projects Taking part in wider school initiatives that promote the arts and cultural engagement About You You’ll bring: QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Art and Design The ability to inspire creativity and resilience in young artists A reflective, organised and collaborative approach to teaching A commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all learners About the School This large 11–18 secondary school is known for its academic strength, excellent behaviour and vibrant culture of enrichment.
