Job description
Are you passionate about Health and Social Care education? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Health and Social Care (HSC) Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Birmingham starting in April 2025 . This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to teach HSC at KS4 and KS5 , working with motivated students in a vibrant and supportive environment. About the Role: Position: Health and Social Care Teacher Location: Birmingham Start Date: April 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Teaching Level: KS4 and KS5 (GCSE and BTEC) Role Details: Teach Health and Social Care to students at KS4 and KS5 , preparing them for exams and providing real-world insights into the field of health and social services. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive Health and Social Care lessons at KS4 and KS5 . Teach BTEC and GCSE syllabi, preparing students for exams through effective lesson planning and assessment. Foster an environment that promotes student participation, discussion, and critical thinking. Support the development of students’ understanding of healthcare practices, social care, and related professions. Contribute to the department’s curriculum development and assessment strategies to improve student outcomes. Why This School?
