Job description
Role Status & Location Role: Experienced Site Manager Sector: Leading Independent School Borough: Enfield (Outer London). Start Date: Permanent, full-time role commencing January 2026. The Opportunity & Contract Profile Join the premises team of a highly academic independent school known for its investment in facilities. This senior role demands excellent logistical planning and high standards for building and grounds maintenance. We seek a leader to manage all site operational staff. Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year). Working Hours: Standard 37 hours per week (flexibility required). Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope Operational Leadership: Overall responsibility for premises staff, budgets, and operational efficiency across the site. Compliance & Safety: Ensuring a safe environment through diligent security procedures and adherence to all health and safety legislation. Facilities Management: Managing contractors for specialist services and overseeing all reactive and planned maintenance. Essential Requirements & Benefits Candidate Profile: Significant managerial experience in a similar setting, comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance systems, and H&S certification. Compensation: Highly competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications (ranging from £38,000 – £45,000+).
