Job description
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oxford is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support children during their first year of primary education, while benefiting from a full-time, permanent role. Position Overview Role: EYFS Class Teacher Location: Oxford Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) About the School A community-focused school with a reputation for inclusion, care, and high standards. Support children in developing confidence, independence, and early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Use effective observation and assessment strategies to monitor progress and plan next steps. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all children thrive. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote learning and wellbeing. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching in EYFS, with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A reflective, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching. Commitment to inclusion, high expectations, and continuous improvement.
