Job description
A thoughtful and engaging Religious Education Teacher is required for a full-time position in a school in Enfield, commencing in September (though an earlier start ASAP may be considered). The successful candidate will guide students across Key Stages 3 to 5, exploring diverse religious and ethical perspectives. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies examinations. Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful dialogue and critical analysis of religious and ethical issues. Assess and monitor student progress in Religious Education, providing insightful feedback to support their understanding. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology. Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. A strong academic background in religious studies and a passion for exploring different belief systems and ethical frameworks. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of leading sensitive and engaging discussions with students. Benefits Outer London Payscale.
