Science Teacher - Dudley, Birmingham 🔬 Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher ready for a new role in Dudley? We're partnered with a thriving secondary school that is looking for a dynamic educator to join their Science department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a school with a strong focus on academic achievement and student well-being. The Role The school is seeking a qualified Science Teacher with experience across all three sciences at Key Stage 3 and specializing in at least one at Key Stage 4 and A-Level. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering a curriculum that encourages curiosity and a love for scientific discovery. You'll be responsible for: Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3. Teaching your specialist science subject(s) to GCSE and A-Level students. Planning and executing practical experiments that bring scientific concepts to life. Mentoring students and supporting their academic and personal development. Collaborating with other staff to enhance the department's resources and curriculum. Candidate Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: A degree in a science-related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE. Proven experience teaching science, with specific expertise at Key Stage 4 and A-Level in your chosen specialism. A solid understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for science. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a diverse range of learners. Salary & Application The salary for this position is competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale , depending on your experience.
