KS1 Teacher - Supportive Primary School in Redbridge

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive and vibrant primary school in Redbridge starting in September 2025. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 2 students in line with the National Curriculum. Develop student’s key literacy and numeracy skills, preparing them for their transition to Key Stage 2. Monitor, assess, and report on student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, and ready to learn. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and deliver an outstanding curriculum. Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns. Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching Year 2 or in lower Key Stage 2. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods for Key Stage 1. Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
