Job description
Are you an experienced Facilities Manager looking for a varied, hands-on role where you can make a real difference within a specialist SEN setting? This could be an excellent opportunity for your next move. • All-through SEN school based in Wandsworth • Full-time role, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm) • Responsible for two school sites • Driving licence and access to a car essential Our client is seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Manager to join a well-established all-through SEN school in Wandsworth on a full-time, permanent basis, starting ASAP. This role is central to the smooth and safe operation of the school, overseeing facilities, maintenance, health & safety, and site compliance across two locations. The successful Facilities Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the school environment is safe, secure, and well maintained for pupils with additional needs. This is a varied role requiring strong organisational skills, a practical approach, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites. School Information This specialist SEN school supports pupils across primary and secondary phases and is known for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral care, and commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment. The school operates across two nearby sites, both of which are well resourced and supported by a collaborative leadership team. Staff describe the school as welcoming, well organised, and highly focused on pupil wellbeing and safety. Experience and Requirements • Previous experience as a Facilities Manager, Site Manager, or Caretaker (school or SEN experience desirable) • Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance, and site security • Ability to manage contractors, maintenance schedules, and day-to-day site issues • Full UK driving licence and access to a car essential • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently across two sites Application To be considered for this Facilities Manager position, please forward your CV as soon as possible.
