Job description
A modern and inspiring Secondary School in Colchester is hiring a Senior Receptionist to lead their front-of-house operations from January . Role Overview You will act as the professional first point of contact for students, parents, staff, visitors, and external agencies. This position requires warmth, composure, and the ability to handle a wide range of tasks simultaneously. School Information This is a school with a strong culture of kindness and professionalism. The administrative structure is well organised, and leadership ensures systems are properly supported. Staff speak highly of the office team as a welcoming, cohesive and highly valued unit. Duties Include Managing the reception desk Dealing with calls, emails, visitors and enquiries Overseeing security procedures for entrance and exits Supporting senior staff with administrative tasks Coordinating hospitality for meetings and events Requirements Excellent customer service Strong IT skills Comfortable in a busy environment Salary Support staff scale.
