The role is a permanent, three-day-per-week position, offering the chance to develop foundational digital literacy and coding skills in younger pupils, with scope to teach introductory Computing at Key Stage 3. The school can provide full ECT induction support. Core Responsibilities & Teaching Scope Primary Lead: Leading the Computing curriculum across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (Years 1-6). Coding Expert: Delivering engaging instruction in foundational concepts, including control, programming, and robotics, using tools like Scratch and physical computing. Secondary Link: Teaching introductory Computing lessons to Key Stage 3 students (Years 7-8) to ensure a smooth transition.
