Job description
The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed school is looking to appoint a new Health and Social Care Teacher to join their dedicated department. Health and Social Care is a popular and thriving subject within the school, with excellent outcomes for students. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health and Social Care teacher or ECT looking to develop their career in a highly skilled, supportive environment. This role is perfect for a candidate who is passionate about the subject and wants to make a positive impact on students' learning and outcomes. What the school is looking for: September Start Health and Social Care Teacher (ECT or experienced) Teaching Health and Social Care to GCSE and A-Level An outstanding practitioner A passion for Health and Social Care The ability to support an already exceptional team A commitment to engaging and innovative teaching methods A drive to secure excellent outcomes for students of all abilities Excellent communication and ICT skills The successful Health and Social Care Teacher will be ambitious, committed to the subject, and dedicated to promoting success in their students. They will bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the department and inspire students to achieve their full potential. School Information The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive in Birmingham, highly regarded in the local community for its excellent academic standards and positive learning culture. The school was graded Outstanding in its latest Ofsted report and provides a supportive and collaborative environment for both students and staff. Experience and Qualifications Degree in Health and Social Care or a related field QTS or PGCE Experience teaching Health and Social Care at GCSE and A-Level Salary The salary for this Health and Social Care Teacher position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract (MPS/UPS).
