We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our vibrant academic community in Telford. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring PE lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices, meeting national standards. Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their skills and achieve their goals in PE. Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom and sports environment that encourages student participation and confidence. Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, including sports clubs, events, and school competitions, to enhance students’ PE experience. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in professional development opportunities. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and school events. Qualifications and Experience: A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level (KS3, KS4, KS5). Strong knowledge of physical education theory, practice, and sports. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activities and appreciate the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
