Job description
A forward-thinking secondary school in Cambridge is looking for a passionate Maths ECT to join their outstanding Mathematics department from January 2026 . The school has an Outstanding Ofsted rating and a track record of developing ECTs into confident, capable practitioners. Students are motivated, and behaviour across the school is excellent. The Role You’ll teach Maths from KS3 through to GCSE, delivering lessons that promote reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical fluency. The Department The department is supportive and forward-looking, using a blend of traditional and modern teaching strategies to ensure success for all learners. About You Maths graduate with QTS or completing training in 2025. Enthusiasm for active, enquiry-based learning. Collaborative and reflective approach to teaching. Why Join?
