Job description
A well-regarded Independent School in the York area is seeking a confident and reflective ECT English Teacher to join its English department from January 2026 . About the Role: This full-time role includes teaching English across KS3–KS4 , with smaller class sizes and a strong emphasis on developing teaching practice in a supportive environment. About the School: The school serves approximately 750 pupils and is known for excellent pastoral care, strong academic outcomes, and a culture that prioritises staff development. ECTs are fully supported through structured mentoring.
