The successful Economics Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 4 and 5 with the principles of economics and the workings of the economy. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging Economics Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 4 and 5. Prepare students effectively for examinations in Economics, ensuring a solid grasp of key concepts and theories. Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking about economic issues. Assess and monitor student progress in economics, providing insightful and constructive feedback as an Economics Teacher. Contribute to the development of the economics curriculum and relevant teaching materials. Encourage an interest in finance and the global economy. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Economics. Demonstrated experience in teaching Economics at the secondary level, including Key Stage 5. A strong academic background in economics and a passion for the subject. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of leading engaging discussions as an Economics Teacher. Ability to motivate students to think critically and independently about economic principles. A commitment to teamwork and a supportive approach to colleagues and students.
