Job description
SENCO – Progressive Secondary School – Basingstoke – September Start Location: Basingstoke | Contract: Full-Time, Permanent | Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Basingstoke is looking for an experienced and inspiring SENCO to join their leadership team this September. This is a unique chance to lead SEND provision in a setting where inclusion is at the heart of everything they do. Why Join This School? Your Role as SENCO: You will lead the strategic development of SEND policy and provision across the school. This includes managing EHCPs, coordinating support staff, working closely with external agencies, and ensuring that every learner receives the right support at the right time. You’ll also play a key part in staff training, data analysis, and SEND advocacy across the wider school community. Who We’re Looking For: A qualified SENCO with National SENCO Accreditation or willingness to undertake it, a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, and a track record of improving outcomes for students with additional needs.
